PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): A 35-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in the Mohammad Agha district of central Logar province on Sunday, officials said.
Abdul Wakil Haqyar, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the woman was found dead in a desert in the morning. He said police had launched their investigation into the case, but her family and the reason behind her murder were yet to be known.
Dr. Habib Rahman, the provincial civil hospital head, confirmed receiving the woman’s body. He said the woman had been stabbed to death and her identity remained unknown.
Shaima Zargar, the women’s affairs director, expressed her concerns over the murder and urged police to seriously investigate it.
