Would-be bomber among 7 killed in Nangarhar

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A would-be suicide bomber was among seven militants killed during separate incidents in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Tuesday.

Police spokesman Maj. Hazrat Hussain Mashraqiwal told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place a number of Taliban including some commanders were killed when the bomb they were making exploded prematurely in Pachiragam district.

A would-be suicide bomber was killed by police in Khogyani district of the province in the morning, Mashraqiwal said. The attacker was driving an explosives-laden Mazda and planned to target a post of Afghan Local Police (ALP).
