Nangarhar University teachers’ salaries stolen

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A group of dacoits on Thursday snatched 14 million afghanis salaries of Nangarhar University teachers, an official said.

Chancellor Dr. Zahir Inayat told Pajhwok Afghan News the robbery incident took place on Thursday afternoon in Nazarabad locality.

He said the robbers stopped the vehicle carrying the salaries of teachers to the university at gunpoint and snatched 14,937,517 afghanis. Two officials on board were wounded and a third severely beaten.
