US embassy hosts advanced female officer safety course

KABUL have completed an advanced officer safety course in Kabul, the US embassy said on Thursday. 

Two American Special Agents from the US Drug Enforcement Administration’s Training Academy in Quantico, Virginia, provided safety, self-defence and tactical medical training lasting a week. 

“We commend the brave Afghan women who completed this course and who choose to put their lives at risk on a daily basis in order to secure a better future for their children,” a statement from the embassy said..
