GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): At least 13 insurgents were killed and eight others wounded during an operation by Afghan security forces in the Taliban-infested Andar district of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Wednesday.
Nazifullah Sultani, police spokesman, said the operation was conducted in Ghach Kala and Sher Kala areas of the district, where some arms and ammunition were also recovered. Dozens of mines were defused.
But some a resident accused the security forces of killing an old man, a former Jihadi commander. Noorullah claimed 70 years old Muhammad Wali was arrested during a raid on his house before being killed.
