7 members of a family dead in Logar blast

PUL-E-ALAM (Pajhwok): Seven members of a family were killed in roadside landmine blast on Friday in the Baraki Barak district of central Logar province, provincial police chief.

Brig. Gen. Abdul Hakim Ishaqzai told Pajhwok Afghan News that the slain included two men, woman and four children who were on their way home in a car when it struck a roadside bomb.

Mohammad Rahim, the town’s administrative chief, confirmed the incident and those died belonged to Shaikh Pa locality of the district.

No group so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
