Challenges and problems faced in 2014 Presidential and Provincial Council Elections increased the need for fundamental electoral reforms in Afghanistaninfo-icon. Establishment of the NUG, particularly the commitment for bringing fundamental electoral reforms in accordance to the political agreement, increased the hopes of the people, civil societyinfo-icon and the donor countries. With regret, since the establishment of the NUG over the last eight months, no practical action is taken to bring the reforms in processes. ACSEN believes that any further delay in the reform process means NUG doesn’t have the political will for the electoral reforms and it is simply disregarding people’s demand.
