Policeman dies in Uruzgan bomb blast

TRINKOT (Pajhwok): A policeman was killed and three others wounded in a bomb blast on Tuesday afternoon in Trinkot district in central Uruzgan province, an official said.

Gul Agha, 2nd lieutenant and police chief of the district, told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomb detonated in Godam area. The target was Ibrahim Jan, a police head of a check post who was injured along with another policeman, he said added.

Dr. Izatullah said a dead body and three wounded persons had been brought to the hospital. Two of them, he said were in critical condition.

Talibaninfo-icon have not commented on the incident.
