Dutch woman kidnapped in Kabul

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): A Dutch lady was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen early Monday morning in capital Kabul, an official said.

Humayun Aini, 119 police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the lady--- who work for a Swedish NGO, was abducted from Kolala-Pushta locality of the 4th police district.

Police have launched investigations, he said, adding it could not be ascertained where the woman had been shifted.

Meanwhile Swedish Committee for Afghanistaninfo-icon says “We have understood that there are rumors in media and elsewhere about a foreigner that has been kidnapped in Kabul and is claimed to be working for SCA. SCA is not in a position to confirm if anyone is kidnapped, but we can confirm that SCA has no employees that has been kidnapped in Kabul.”

No group claimed responsibility for her abduction so.
