MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): Four children were killed in a bomb blast in the Syedabad district of central Maidan Wardak province on Thursday, an official said.

The children were playing outside the home of Attaullah, a local resident, when the hidden bomb exploded in Otrai village, the governor spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Attaullah Khogyani said two children of Attaullah aged four and 12 years old and another two children of ages two and 12 years old were killed in the blast.

Attaullah had no government job or personal enmity, said Khogyani, quoting local residents.
