Senior Daesh leader among 7 held in Kabul: NDS

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): The National Directorate of Security (NDSinfo-icon) on Thursday claimed arresting a senior Daesh leader recruiting fighters for the group along with six other associates in capital Kabul.

Abdul Fatah son of Abdul Qadar widely known as Mohammad--- responsible for recruitment new fighters and then sending them to training centers--- is among the detained men, the spy network said in a statement.

The other men apprehended by the NDS included former Talibaninfo-icon commander Noor-ul-Haq son of Eid Mohammad who is dealing with financial branch for the group in western Heart, former Taliban group member Ghaus-u-din known as Amir saheb son of Abul Baqi, Syed Mustafa son of Mohammad Qasam, Noor-ul-Hadi son of Noorullah and Mohammad Yunus son of Mohammad Murad.

During initial interrogation, Abdul Fatah told that he contacted the other detained men through social media Facebook and later met them in person recruited them.

They were arrested before Abdul Fatah could take them to Daesh group in eastern Nangarhar. The exact date of the arrest and location could not be made public, the statement added.
