Maidan Wardak traffic accident claims 4 lives

MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): Four people were killed in a traffic accident in central Maidan Wardak province on Tuesday, an official said.

The head-on collision between a police vehicle and a passenger car took place near Maidan Shahr, the provincial capital, the governor’s spokesman told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Attaullah Khogyani confirmed four persons traveling in the car died on the spot. Police have reached the scene and investigations were underway.

A security official who wished to go unnamed said police vehicle fled the area after the accident and reached to capital Kabulinfo-icon.
