Amarkhel urges Kunar residents to take part in WJ ballot

ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Zia-ul-Haq Amarkhel, head of National Unity Party NUP (Mili Sabat Party) urged people in eastern Kunar province on Friday to take hectic part in next Wolesi Jirgainfo-icon election.

NUP organized a meeting in Asadabad, the provicnical capital, where he said that his party aimed at fighting corruption and intensifying efforts for building peace and ensure stability in the country.

Amarkhel praised government efforts for peace, stability and sustainability in the country and suggested to nominate sincere representatives to participate in peace process.

“We want peace and unity in the country and war and fighting should be stopped in the country” he said, urging the government that all people living in Afghanistaninfo-icon were Afghans and their interest should be protected. 

The aggrieved Afghans should be reached and should be convinced to join peace process, he demanded.

Amarkhel praised local people for casting votes in the last election and asked the residents to cast vote and encourage others to vote in fourthcoming Wolesi Jirga election.

“Weak government does not favor us and it is our right to ask our legal rights from the government and also to point out the shortcomings and weaknesses of the government,” he noted.

Local elder Haji Mohammad Rozi, head of provincial council, pilot Din Mohammad Sapi, Senator Tayyab Atta, Khan Bacha, Malak Attaullah, Mohammad Islam and Maulviinfo-icon Mohammad Anwar also attended the meeting and assured their complete support for the party.
