TARINKOT (Pajhwok): The Afghanistaninfo-icon Grand Ulama Council member and a tribal elder from central Uruzgan province was killed in Talibaninfo-icon attack on Saturday, an official said.

The governor’s spokesman Dost Mohammad Nayab told Pajhwok Afghan News Taliban attack a government convoy at around 10:30pm in Sarkhobi area on Tarinkot-Kandahar road.

Maulviinfo-icon Lal Mohammad, member of the Ulama Council and Ahmad Shah Khan, were heading to Kandahar for a memorial ceremony of a friend but came under militants attack.
