Kapisa blast injures family members of ex-advisor

MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Officials in central Kapisa province on Wednesday said a blast in Tagab district wounded two family members of a former presidential advisor.

Khwaja Del Agha, local police commander in Tagab, told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place on Tuesday on a road near district chief’s office.

He said a son and brother of Tahir Khan Sapai, advisor to former president Hamid Karzai, were wounded in the incident. The wounded were then shifted to Kabulinfo-icon for treatments.

Dr. Lajaward, another wounded, said they were on the way to the district that the blast occured.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
