Wounded in Afghanistan, terrorists held from Karachi hospital

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Pakistaninfo-icon’s Sindh police chief Ghulam Haider Jamali has said several terrorists wounded in Afghanistaninfo-icon were arrested from a hospital in Karachi where they were being treated.

Local ARY News quoted him as saying at a media briefing in Hyderabad district of the province, where he distributed bank cheques to families of slain police officials.

Jamali said strict action would be taken against the staff of the hospital and that the investigation against the arrested persons was underway.

The Inspector General Sindh Police also said terrorists affiliated with Al Qaeda and different terrorist organizations along with agents of India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) had also been arrested.
