After Bamyan, another ANA copter crashes in Logar

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): A second Afghan National Army (ANA) helicopter crashed in central Logar province after the first that went down in Bamyan province on Monday, officials said.

Salim Salih, Logar governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the ANA chopper crashed this afternoon in Kharwar district. He had no information about causalities.

But another official, who wished to go unnamed, said two ANA helicopters had crashed in Kharwar district.

Earlier in the day, a military helicopter went down in central Bamyan province, killing two people aboard and wounding five others, an official said.

Abdur Rahman Ahmadi, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the helicopter -- flying from Bamyan to southern Kandahar province -- crashed in Qazan area in the afternoon.
