KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Former president Hamid Karzai on Thursday left Kabul for Dushanbe, the capital of neighbouring Tajikistan, for a two-day formal visit, a statement from the ex-president’s office said.

Karzai, heading a delegation, flew to Tajikistan on Thursday morning for talks with Tajik officials on a range of issues, the statement said.

Karzai would discuss bilateral, regional and security issues with Tajik officials, the statement said without giving more details about the trip.

Earlier, Hamid Karzai visited the United Arab Emirates to attend an international conference there.
