Tariq Stanikzai hammered an unbeaten 50 and was the man of the match and opener Ihsanullah contributed 47 and led Afghanistan to victory with more than 22 overs to spare.

The Afghans chased the target in the 28th over and win the match by eight wickets.

The Afghanistan under-19s would face in their last match Zimbabwe for the ninth place play-off.
