PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Fourteen members of the Afghan Talibaninfo-icon movement were arrested on Thursday during a raid in Quetta, the capital of Pakistaninfo-icon’s southwestern Balochistan province.

A private TV channel quoted unnamed security officials as saying the operation was conducted in the Pashtoonabad area of Quetta -- home to many Afghan refugees and militants.

According to DawnNews, the Afghan militants were picked up from a compound in the area. The detainees were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogations.

"It is premature to say something about the arrest of any high profile leader among them,"one official told the channel. Sleeping bags, boots and administrative objects were seized from the detainees.
