KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): During a meeting with the National Directorate of Security (NDSinfo-icon) personnel of five provinces, President Ashraf Ghani said accurate intelligence increases the efficiency of each bullet by hundreds of times.

President Ghani met the NDS officials of different districts of Khost, Kunar, Logal, Paktia and Nangarhar provinces at the Presidential Palace after a two-day seminar in Kabul, a statement from president’s office said.

For the first time, the NDS officials exchanged their experiences and assessed the security situation of the country during the two-day seminar, the acting NDS chief, Masoud Andarabi said.

President Ghani praised the NDS officials for the initiative and said the intelligence department was as secret eye, ear, brain and sward for the country.

“You are not performing a day-long effort, but you sacrifices for peaceful next generation too. We have to build the country together,” Ghani addressed the spy personnel.

The war in Afghanistaninfo-icon was the war between right and wrong, so the NDS officials should try for recognition of geography, tradition and culture of Afghans, the statement added.

“Your accurate intelligence increases the efficiency of your bullets by hundreds of times, but your wrong intelligence wastes your hundreds of bullets with no result,” president concluded.
