PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): An Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier, after receiving medical treatment at a hospital in the Bajaur tribal region, has returned home with gifts from Pakistaninfo-icon’s paramilitary troops.

The soldier had been evacuated from the Nawa Pass border area to hospital by Pakistani forces on Saturday. He was discharged from the Agency Headquarters Hospital on Tuesday when the Bajaur Scouts personnel presented him gifts.

As Pakistani officials saw him off on the Pak-Afghan border, the ANA soldier praised the gesture of medical treatment. Political Agent Amir Khattak and Commandant of Bajaur Scouts Colonel Nayyar Zaman visited him at the hospital.
