KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): A rocket landed in the capital Kabul but caused no casualties or damage, Security officials said on Sunday.

Crime branch chief for 101st Asmayee Zone, Brig. Gen. Faridoon Obaidi, told Pajhwok Afghan News the rocket was fired from a non-residential area in the eighth police district.

He said the rocket landed in Pul-i-Bagh Omomi area of the city on Saturday night but caused no casualties or damage. No group has so far claimed responsibility.

The incident came as US Secretary of State John Kerry prepared to leave the high-security capital after meeting senior Afghan leaders.
