KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): The National Directorate of Security (NDSinfo-icon) on Tuesday said weapons secretly dumped by the Haqqani Networkinfo-icon for attacking the Kabul International Airport had been discovered in the capital.

The intelligence agency said the weapons, including two rocket launchers, four shells, 11 magnetic bombs, 17 explosive devices,  and three telephone devices, were seized in the Tarakhel area of Deh Sabz district.

A statement from NDS said the Haqqani Network planned to attack the Kabul airport with the weapons seized. One suspect was detained in connection with the weapons. However, the NDS did not name the detainee.
