Taliban’s delegation to discuss refugees, prisoners issues with Pakistan

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Afghan Talibaninfo-icon on Wednesday announced the group would dispatch high level delegation Pakistaninfo-icon to discuss issues on both sides of the Durand Lineinfo-icon.

Taliban said in a statement: “Afghanistaninfo-icon shared a long border with Pakistan, both countries have close relation, a huge volume of bilateral trade and more important a large number of Afghans lived as refugees there, therefore, the political office of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Qatar decided to send a high level delegation to Islamabad to discuss these issues.” 

The delegation had been assigned to talk with Pakistani officials on matters related Afghan refugees, tensions on the Durand Line and discuss the release of Mullahinfo-icon Bradar Akhund and several other prisoners, the statement said

Taliban hoped the visit of its delegation would be fruitful for both sides and produce positive result at the end.
