KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): A high-level Pakistani military delegation is expected to arrive in Kabul tomorrow (Tuesday) for talks with Afghan counterparts on various issues including border management, an official said on Monday.

The military commissions of Afghanistaninfo-icon and Pakistaninfo-icon would hold a meeting tomorrow in Kabul, Shekab Mustaghni, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He said meetings between military commissions of the two countries had been taking place over the past few years and tomorrow’s meeting was part of the process.

He said defence officials from the two countries would participate in the meeting in which the fight against terrorism, joint efforts and regional security issues would come under discussion.

Earlier, Afghan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani and Pakistan Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz during a meeting in Tashkent had agreed on a joint mechanism on border management to stop infiltration of terrorists.
