KABUL in Kabul on Wednesday organized an event to celebrate the 139th birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
In a statement, the Pakistan Embassy said Afghan Minister for Information and Culture, Dr. Kamal Sadat, and Minister for Border and Tribal Affairs, Abdul Ghafoor Laiwal, graced the occasion as Chief Guests.
Prof. Abdullah Bakhtanay Khidmatgar, the 91 years old Afghan expert on Iqbal, presided over the event, the statement said.
