Pakistan also handed over list of terrorists, training centres

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): The Afghan embassy in Islamabad on Monday handed over a list of 85 terrorists and 32 terrorist training centres functional in Pakistaninfo-icon and asked the neighbouring country to take action against them, a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has said.

The MoFA statement, a copy of which received by Pajhwok Afghan News said the letter was handed over to Pakistani authorities by the Afghan Ambassador and an immediate action against mentioned 32 terrorist training centres was demanded.

Meanwhile, repeatedly about 85 names of individuals and leaders of Talibaninfo-icon and other terrorist groups including Haqqani Networkinfo-icon were also shared with the Pakistani counterparts, asking it to take steps in arresting and handing over those individuals to Afghan government.

The statement said the initial response by the Pakistani authorities with regard to the list was positive this morning and there was expression of hope that practical actions would be taken in this regard.

The Afghan government once again had a desire to discuss and take joint steps with Pakistan against the scourge of terrorism particularly within the framework of Quadrilateral Coordination Group (QCG).

In addition, the Afghan government pledged to continue isolating terrorist groups and individuals through global security mechanisms such as the United Nation.
