Daesh behead 3 kidnapped civilians in Nangarhar

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Daesh militants have beheaded three civilians in the Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province, officials said on Saturday.

The governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani, told Pajhwok Afghan News the men beheaded late on Friday in Momand Dara locality had been kidnapped by the group. The victims were 25, 15 and 17 years old.

Governor Gulab Mangal expressed concerned over the incident and directed security organs to investigate the incident seriously.

Earlier, Daesh militants had beheaded and even exploded civilians in Nangarhar in the past.  The group has not commented about the incident yet.

The beheadings follow a series of operations against Daesh militants in Achin district.
