May 14, 2017 - 14:27

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): A NATOinfo-icon forces’ military vehicle was partially damaged in a roadside bombing on northern outskirts of Kabul City, police said on Sunday, and the rebels claimed the blast killed four soldiers.

The blast took place on Saturday night in Qala-i-Musa locality of Qarabagh district, the police chief for neighboring Parwan province, Mohammad Zaman Muzamil, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He said no one was harmed in the blast that damaged one of the foreign forces’ vehicles.

But a Talibaninfo-icon spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed four soldiers onboard the vehicle were killed in the roadside blast.

There has been no word from the military alliance about the incident.

Separately in central Logar province, four militants have been killed in a blast caused by their own landmine in the Mohammad Agha district, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said.

The militants wanted to plant the explosive on the side of a road in Dewalak village, killing four including a commander Samiullah aka Yaser, the ministry said in a statement.
