10 Taliban killed in Farah clash

FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Ten Taliban have been killed and three other injured during a clash with security forces in western Farah province , an official said on Friday.

Police spokesman Iqbal Baher told Pajhwok Afghan News the Taliban stormed security forces check-posts in the Farah Roud area and faced with befitting response from security forces.

He said the Taliban bodies laid in the battle ground while security forces suffered no casualties.

But Lal Mohammad, a local shopkeeper, said the Taliban did not attack security forces posts.
