KABUL has been awarded 21 months in prison for accepting more than $250,000 in illegal kickbacks from an Afghan subcontractor.
In return for the bribe, the American offered the Afghan his assistance in obtaining subcontracts on US government contracts, the Department of Justice said in a statement on Tuesday.
