KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): The Governor of eastern Nuristan province Hafiz Abdul Qayyuom called on national traders and foreign investors to invest in the beautiful nature of the province to attract tourists.

Addressing reporters at the Government Media and Information Centre (GMIC) the governor also called on the people to travel to that province without security concerns and enjoy the natural and heroic attractions.

He strongly rejected rumors regarding the presence and activities of Daesh in the province, saying that there was not even a single person from Daesh group active in Nuristan .

He added that the provincial religious scholars have issued Fatwainfo-icon against this group. However, he said that like in the past, Pakistaninfo-icon still supported the Talibaninfo-icon for destructive activities in the province.

Hafiz Abdul Qayyuom said that schools were open in Nuristan. Girls and boys continued their lessons without any challenge. He illustrated the healthinfo-icon services in good condition and added that hospitals and clinics offer health services at the center of the districts.

Nuristan Governor said dozens of midwives completed the training courses, and others were getting trainings. He reiterated that Nooristan was a poppy free province and there were no addicts in that province

Highways in the province were currently one of the safest roads in the country, he added.
