3-way talks on military cooperation in Kabul today

PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Military officials from Afghanistaninfo-icon, Pakistaninfo-icon and the US meet in Kabulinfo-icon today (Saturday) on enhancing coordination and cooperation in the war on terror, says a media report.

Pakistani and Afghan directors-general of military operations, besides holding bilateral talks, would also attend a trilateral meeting with the Resolute Support Mission, Daily Times reported.

On November 30, Afghan Director-General Military Operations Maj. Gen. Habib Hesari led a team to Pakistan for two-day discussions on key issues, including security cooperation.

Pakistan is expected to renew its call for effective checks on cross-border movement of the militants, who are blamed for attacks on both sides of the Durand Lineinfo-icon.
