PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Russia has voiced its concern over the situation in Afghanistaninfo-icon, saying security in the war-torn country has nosedived in recent years.

The Afghan government had suffered setbacks during operations against the Talibaninfo-icon, said Dr G. Khozin, consul general of the Russian Federation in Karachi.

“Our position is that both sides should sit across the table and resolve the issue. The Islamic State concentration in Afghanistan is a matter of concern for all,” he added.
