Indonesian envoy vows cooperation with Nangarhar

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Indonesian Ambassador Arif Rahman has traveled to eastern Nangarhar province and pledged to cooperate in different areas, an official said on Friday.

Governor spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News Rhamn met representatives of different provincial institution and ulemainfo-icon during the trip.

Acting Deputy Governor Abdullah Raqibi told the Indonesian envoy that with the induction of youth in different government departments a positive change had been made.

Abdul Zahir Haqqani, head of the Hajjinfo-icon and Religious Affairs Department, said the people of Nangarhar had close ties with the people of Indonesian on the bases of Islamic brotherhood and hope to visit Indonesia for meeting ulema there.

Najibullah Kamawal, head of the Public Healthinfo-icon Department, asked the Rahman for Indonesia help in health sector specially in the eyes treatment.

He said Indonesian ulema should share their experiences with Afghan ulema regarding the eradication of Polio.

The Indonesian envoys pledged to cooperate in different areas and maintain close relation with Nangarhar.

He also pledged to provide opportunity of Indonesia trip for Nangarhar ulema to further strengthen unity among Muslims. Rahman made commitments of cooperation in health sector.
