KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): The Meshrano Jirgainfo-icon or upper house of Parliament on Sunday welcomed the ongoing peace huddle in Turkey and asked Kabul to brief the visiting UNSC delegation on the real picture and Pakistaninfo-icon’s interference in Afghanistaninfo-icon.

A three-day quadrilateral intra-Afghan peace dialogue began on Saturday in the Turkish capital Istanbul, to find a negotiated end to the decades-long conflict in Afghanistan, a reliable source said.

The source, wishing anonymity, also shared a few photos of the gathering with Pajhwok, saying the peace dialogue was arranged in cooperation with the Turkish government.

Mualvi Muhiuddin Munsif, a lawmaker from central Kapisa province, said the Istanbul meeting was a result of HIA mediation between the Taliban and the government.
