FARAH CITY (Pajhwok):  Five policemen have been killed and two others injured in militants attack on police check-post in western Farah province, local residents said on Monday.

Gul Aqa, the resident of locality said, insurgents stormed check-post at around 12:00am on Sunday night in Syedabad village situated on the outskirts of Farah City, the provincial capital.

He added security forces recaptured the check-post in the early morning and police told the residents that five policemen were killed and two other injured in the overnight attack.
