TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): More than 20 people, including militants, police and civilians, have been killed in separate incidents of violence in central Uruzgan province, an official said Wednesday.
Four policemen, who were commanders of their posts, were killed after they were ambushed by Taliban militants in Chora district on Tuesday night, the district police chief said.
Aminullah Khaliqi told Pajhwok Afghan News another four policemen were wounded in the attack in Akhtar village of the district.
Separately, 14 Taliban militants were killed during a clearing operation . . .
