Man trying to smuggle 25kg of drugs detained in Baghlan

PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Police have seized 20 kilograms of hashish and five kg of opium in the Bano district of northern Baghlan province, an official said on Thursday.

Police spokesman Zabihullah Shuja told Pajhwok Afghan News a man smuggling the drugs to Pul-i-Khumri, the capital of Baghlan, was detained in Khush Dara locality.

He said the drugs had been placed skillfully in a Corolla vehicle. The detainee had been introduced to juridical organs for interrogations, he concluded.
