Joint HPC, Ulema delegation in Indonesia for peace talks

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): A joint delegations of High Peace Councilinfo-icon (HPC) and Ulemainfo-icon council have arrived in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, to discuss the Afghan peace efforts, HPC tweeted on Tuesday.

It said the delegation arrived in Indonesia on Monday in order to discuss peace process with government officials.

The officials initially met foreign ministry. Indonesia foreign office said Ulema from Afghanistaninfo-icon, Pakistaninfo-icon and Indonesia would hold meeting.

Deputy head of HPC Mulvi Abdul Khaiber Auchqon, member of ulema council, Mulvi Attaullah Loddin, deputy minister for the ministry of justice Mulvi Qasem Halim, Pir Mohammad Rohani president advisor Enayatullah Balkhi are included in the delegations.

Meanwhile, HPC secretariat head Dr. Akram Khpelwak and Dr. Zeerak Yousafi, another member of secretariat also accompanying the delegation.
