TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): The governor of central Uruzgan province on Saturday said security forces in the province were ‘incapable’ because they had completely failed in preventing security incidents.
Asadullah Saeed, who recently took charge as the new governor of Uruzgan, was addressing a gathering of tribal elders who demanded stability and security from the governor.
The governor said he wanted to eliminate insecurity in Uruzgan and invite insurgent to reconciliation.
He said the current security situation in Uruzgan was not acceptable to him and added all security forces were irresponsible because they had failed . . .
