<p>JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least seven Daesh or Islamic State (IS) militants have been killed during airstrikes in Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province, officials said Friday.</p>
<p>Hazrat Hussain Mashraqiwal, provincial police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Afghan air forces targeted a Daesh hideout in Pekhi Baghdara area of Achin district on Thursday night.</p>
<p>He said that seven IS insurgents were killed in the incident. Civilians and Afghan forces suffered no casualties.</p>
<p>On the other hand, Gula Jan Shinwari, a resident of the area, said he heard bombardment but he had no information about casualties.</p>
<p>Daesh did not comment on the incident so far.</p>
