6 students wounded in Kabul grenade blast

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Six students, including four girls, were wounded in a hand-grenade blast inside their private learning institute in Dash-i-Barchi area of Kabul City on Sunday.

Basir Mujahid, Kabul police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that an unknown individual entered the private learning institute named “Kawser Danish” and a hand grenade in his hand blew up soon after.

The unknown suspect was killed in the blast and a student was wounded, said Mujahid, who believed the attacker was a suicide bomber. He said the incident was being investigated.

However, Dr. Wahid Majroh, spokesmen for the Ministry of Public Healthinfo-icon, said four girls and two boys had been evacuated to hospital from the blast site.
