MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): New governor and police chief for northern Balkh province will be formal introduced on Thursday (Today) during a ceremony, an official said.
Monir Farhad, former governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that lawmaker Ishaq Rahguzar would take over as new governor and Gen. Akram Saame as new provincial police chief.
He said the development would take place today during a ceremony in Balkh province.
