JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Local officials on Tuesday said four members of a family were killed and four others wounded by unidentified armed men in Chaparhar district of eastern Nangarhar province.
Governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani, told Pajhwok Afghan News that a number of unknown armed men attacked the house of Abdul Aziz, a resident of Salozo area of the district on Monday night.
He said that four members including a young girl of the family were killed and four others including a woman were injured in the incident.
Governor Gulab Mangal ordered district officials to investigate about the incident and arrest the criminals, Khogyani added.
Suhbatullah, a dweller of the area confirmed the incident and said the dead and the injured were shifted to hospital by local people.
A day earlier, seven members of a family were killed in a similar incident in central Kapisa province.
