PSHAWAR (Pajhwok): Two men from the minority Hazara community have been shot dead in a new attack in Pakistaninfo-icon’s southwestern Balochistan province.

A third Shiite man was wounded in the attack -- the third in as many weeks -- in the Western Bypass area of Quetta, the provincial capital, on Sunday.

The men came under attack on their way from Hazara Town to Akhtarabad area. Riding two motorbikes, they were fired at by unidentified motorcyclists.

All the three men received bullet injuries, according to Superintendent of Police Syed Attaullah Shah. Two of them died on the spot.

Police and the Frontier Corps personnel rushed to the site and shifted the bodies and the injured to the Bolan Medical College Hospital.

The victims were identified as Muhammad Zaman and Muhammad Ali. The injured, a police constable, was identified as Safar Ali, who is said to be in serious condition.
