No anti-Pakistan syllabus taught at schools for refugees

No anti-Pakistan syllabus taught at schools for refugees

Apr 25, 2018 - 09:51

PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): There is no evidence of anti-Pakistaninfo-icon syllabus being taught at schools for Afghan refugees, lawmakers were informed on Tuesday.

Naeema Kishwer Khan, a member of the National Assembly, had claimed on January 25 the syllabus projected India as Afghanistaninfo-icon’s friend and Gilgit Baltistan as part of Indian-held Kashmir.

Chaired by MNA Mohammad Jamaluddin, a parliamentary panel was told some schools were being run by the United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and others by the Pakistani government.

The chief commissioner for Afghan refugees said special teams visited the schools and checked the syllabus taught there, but found no anti-Pakistan chapters in books.
