KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Ten people were killed and 23 others wounded in Wednesday’s terrorist attacks in capital Kabul, the Ministry of Public Healthinfo-icon (MoPH) said on Thursday.

Two suicide attackers targeted a police station in the Dasht-i-Barchi area of 13th police district -- an assault that lasted half an hour. The attack was claimed by Daesh or Islamic State (IS).

Five other assailants stormed a police station in Shahr-i-Naw area close to the private company Shaheer that works for processing Indian visa applications for Afghans.

Dr. Wahid Majroh, spokesman for MoPH, told Pajhwok Afghan News 10 people were killed and 23 others wounded in the assaults.

The dead included three men while other bodies could not be recognised. However, Majroh did not give information whether the victims were civilians or security personnel.

Talibaninfo-icon insurgents claimed responsibility for the second attack.
