MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): One civilian was killed and four others wounded after being caught in crossfire between Afghan army personnel and insurgents in the Alasai district of central Kapisa province, an official said on Friday.
The clash broke out in the district bazaar on Thursday afternoon, the Alasai district chief Ghulam Naqshbad Safi told Pajhwok Afghan News. He said the ANA troops had arrived in the bazaar for shopping when a Taliban gunman opened fire at them.
